Harbor Rest

Harbor Rest

Harbor Rest was commissioned by a family who spent every summer sailing out of the same small marina, and they wanted the calm of first light rather than the drama of open water. I painted the boats still tethered, hulls barely moving, because that in-between moment — before the wind picks up, before anyone's aboard — felt like the truest image of what the harbor meant to them.
