Field in Green and Bone

Field in Green and Bone is where a landscape started slipping out of my hands and into something more abstract. The dry stalks and muted greens kept flattening into shapes as I worked, and instead of fighting that, I let the piece drift toward pattern and gesture. It's a field, but it's also just color learning to stand on its own.
